Late Money

Money that hits the pools in the final flash before post.

Late money is the sharpest money in the building. Smart bettors don't want to move the price early — they wait until the last flash and let the price stand.

A horse that drops two flashes in the last 90 seconds is being bet by people who think they know something. Worth reading.
