Post Position Bias

Some posts win more than they should. Track geometry decides which.

On a half-mile track, the rail wins. A lot. On a five-eighths, the bias narrows. On a mile, post matters less and trip matters more.

Post bias is real but overstated. The bias is in the trip the post produces, not in the post itself.
