Parked Credit

Points added back for every quarter a horse raced uncovered on the outside.

In harness racing, the º marks in the chart mean the horse was parked — racing first-over with no cover, fighting wind every step. That's expensive work, and a fair figure has to pay it back.

First Over starts at 6 points per parked quarter and lets you calibrate by track size. Half-mile bullrings tax parked trips more than miles do.
